Englewood Elementary School

Englewood Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in reading, math, writing and science. It maintains a parent-teacher association and school advisory council. Englewood Elementary School utilizes computer technology to strengthen reading comprehension through the use of accelerated reader and math programs. The school s media center has more than 15,000 books. It has an on-site television production lab broadcasting live to every classroom. Englewood Elementary School is governed by Duval County Public Schools, which operates several high, middle, elementary, alternative, charter and juvenile justice schools. The school district offers educational, recreational and athletic programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
