Elmira's Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Wimauma, FL, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing a forever home for exotic and wild animals in need. With a mission to offer loving care, life management, and enrichment, the sanctuary does not engage in breeding, buying, selling, or public contact with the animals.
Supported solely by members and private contributions, Elmira's Wildlife Sanctuary is staffed entirely by volunteers and aims to increase community awareness of the needs of these animals through educational opportunities. Visitors can join one of their tours to meet the residents, including Stanley the grizzly bear, Cort and Lexi Tiger, Tiki Lemur, and many more.
