Eileen de Grandis, M.D., RPVI, FACS, obtained her medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After medical school, she completed her general surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic and vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. de Grandis went on to work at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte and Bayfront Health Punta Gorda. During her time there as a lead vascular surgeon, she served as co-chair of the Radiation Safety Committee and provided training, education and enacted safety measures for the staff. Dr. de Grandis' research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Vascular Surgery and Perspectives in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy. Dr. de Grandis is certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. She performs a full range of vascular surgery, including aortic reconstruction, dialysis access, carotid, arterial and venous surgery.
