Eduardo Alfonso Perez, MD

Dr. Ford is an internationally renowned physician-scientist, pediatric surgeon and the dean and chief academic officer of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Ford joined the Miller School in 2018 as the first Haitian American dean of a U.S. medical school. Under Dr. Ford’s leadership, the Miller School is shaping the next generation of transformational physicians and advancing groundbreaking scientific discovery. Dr. Ford is an internationally recognized authority on necrotizing enterocolitis, a lethal disease that causes inflammation of intestinal tissue in premature infants. He is the author of more than 300 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, invited articles, abstracts and presentations.

Devinder Singh, MD, is Chief of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami Health System and professor of surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr Singh earned his baccalaureate at Brown University and his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his combined residency in general and plastic surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. In 2011, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley appointed Dr Singh to be the only plastic surgeon on the Board of Physicians. The medical board is responsible for protecting public health through efficient licensure, effective discipline, and regulatory promulgation.

Dr Lauren M Yarholar has joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at the DeWitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. She has been trained in pediatric and adult plastic surgery and specializes in Craniofacial surgery. She received her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She completed her Plastic Surgery training at Saint Louis University where she gained extensive experience in the treatment and management of pediatric plastic surgery and adult facial cosmetic surgery as well as facial trauma.
