HistoryIn January 2005, I left a nearly 30 year career as a legal assistant to take full-time care of my grandmother, with Hospice assistance, so she could live the rest of her days at home. That was the beginning of my company, Young Assistance. To accomplish my goal of helping people so they can remain in the comfort of their homes, we work with seniors and their out-of-town families who have the responsibility of their elder parents or grandparents, like I did. I have friendly, qualified caregivers who are Level 2-screened through the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). I have a licensed Homemaker/Companion business, and am a member of the Better Business Bureau and Dunedin Chamber of Commerce.
