Dr. Jose Vazquez, M.D.

Carlos Ayub, M.D., is an internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Ayub specializes in primary care. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2022, Dr. Ayub was a primary care physician at Presbyterian Medical Group in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.During medical school at the Universidad del Norte, he was awarded an Honorable Mention Diploma for Excellence and graduated as Distinguished Student – Medicine. Dr. Ayub’s approach to patient care focuses on partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals through prevention and healthy lifestyle choices. Harry Salinas, M.D., is a Miami Cancer Institute plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in breast reconstructive surgery. He utilizes advanced surgical techniques to extend the ability of other surgeons and radiation oncologists to more effectively treat cancer, thus offering patients the best opportunity for cure. He also performs surgical procedures that restore physical function and improve a patient’s appearance and quality of life after the surgical treatment of cancer. Dr. Salinas’ research interests have included fat grafting, adipose derived stem cells and improvement of venous conduits for arterial reconstruction. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles about plastic and reconstructive surgery techniques and has presented his clinical research results at various professional symposiums throughout the United States. He is an experienced clinical educator, serving as a clinical fellow of surgery and an anatomy instructor at Harvard Medical School and as an anatomy and physiology teaching assistant at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Elizabeth Anne Ouellette, M.D., MBA, is a renowned orthopedic hand surgeon specializing in the treatment of wrist fracture, ligament tear, nerve injury, joint instability and small joint replacement. She performs surgeries of all complexities. She has more than 30 years of clinical experience treating athletes and people of all ages and teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows. She serves in numerous clinical and academic leadership roles.Dr. Ouellette’s research interests include wrist instabilitybiomechanics, nerve injury repair, skin coverage andpsychological intervention for upper extremity traumapatients. She is widely published in peer-reviewedmedical journals and is an invited speaker at nationaland international academic symposiums.
