Perrine Elementary School is a part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1977, Perrine Elementary School serves more than 800 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It offers a range of student programs in art, music, drama, dance and physical education. The school conducts Spanish language programs and offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. In addition, Perrine Elementary School conducts sessions in special and gifted education. Its staff includes classroom and resource teachers, specialists, counselors and support employees. Perrine Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that supports and sponsors a variety of school events and activities.
