Genetic information can also be lifesaving for family members, even for future generations. Dr. Morrell joined the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute in 1995 as clinical director of breast cancer services at the Center for Breast Care. In this role, she helped establish and champion the multimodality care model for breast and other cancers. This model allows patients to meet with multiple specialists in their specific cancer type in a single visit. Ultimately, this team approach leads to more coordinated care and better outcomes for the patient. As chairperson of clinical research at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Dr. Morrell spearheads research initiatives at the hospital and in collaboration with the Charles E. Schmitt School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. She also presents at numerous community-based education events and physician continuing medical education conferences. When she is not seeing patients and conducting research, Dr. Morrell enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and enjoying outdoor activities.

Ross J. Taylor, M.D., is a radiation oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Taylor specializes in treating breast, head and neck, thoracic and genitourinary cancers. He has expertise in using stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy to treat primary gastrointestinal and lung malignancies, stereotactic radiosurgery to treat primary and metastatic central nervous system malignancies, and technology/advancements that aim to reduce acute and late side effects of radiation treatment. Dr. Taylor earned his medical degree and completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He also completed a residency in radiation oncology at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Taylor has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers at professional symposiums. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, American College of Radiation Oncology and the American Society for Radiation Oncology. When it comes to patient care, Dr. Taylor offers education and empathy. He ensures that patients and their families have a clear understanding of the diagnosis, the full spectrum of treatment options and the position of radiation therapy in this paradigm.
