Dr. Emmanuel Kai-Lewis is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who grew up in Washington D.C. He attended Baylor University then returned to Washington for Medical School at Howard University College of Medicine. After Medical School, Dr. Kai completed his residency at West Virginia University Eye Institute and went on to pursue additional training and completed a Cornea Fellowship at the Prestigious University of Minnesota Eye Clinic, becoming an expert in Cornea/External Disease and Refractive Surgery. As an Ophthalmologist focused on cataract and cornea surgery, Dr. Kai was a member of the faculty at the prestigious St. Eriks Hospital in Stockholm where he taught medical students how to perform complex cornea transplants among other types of procedures. Today, Dr. Kai is one of the most experienced cross-linking specialists in the United States. He has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly and is a leading cataract and corneal surgeon who is committed to ensuring each and every patient has their best possible vision.

Dr. Priest-Allen is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Cataract Surgeon who has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly. She grew up right here in Southwest Florida and graduated from Fort Myers High School! After attending Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Priest-Allen went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine Degree from the prestigious Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she was elected to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Subsequently, Dr. Priest-Allen completed her Ophthalmology Residency and trained specifically to become a Cataract Surgeon at the World-Renowned Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Priest-Allen then stayed at Kresge Eye Institute and completed a Glaucoma fellowship in order to become a specialized Glaucoma Surgeon. During Dr. Priest-Allen's Glaucoma fellowship, she learned the most advanced treatments and surgical techniques for treating patients with all stages of glaucoma, from mild to advanced cases. She also participated in pioneering research that has contributed to the development of effective, advanced treatment options for glaucoma patients.
