Daniel Defense

Suwannee American Cement, also known as SAC, is a partnership between Anderson Columbia Company and Votorantim Cimentos since 2003. The company serves limestone mines, asphalt plants, road paving companies and concrete batch plants. It also manufactures a range of fiber cement building products, including siding units, backer board, wallboards and gypsum under the brand name of James Hardie. Suwannee American Cement has a capacity to produce more than 1.5 million tons of Portland cement annually. The company has received an ISO 9001:2000 certification from the International Organization for Standardization. It is a member of the International Organization for Sustainable Development.
