History
From as far back as I can remember, I have had a love for the kitchen and food, but mostly for baking. I would watch cooking shows when it wasn't cool and there was not a dedicated channel for it. Though I would not help her at the time, I would watch my mother cook and bake cookies and desserts for us and picked up recipes and techniques by osmosis. It came very natural to me and in no time, I took over and was cooking and baking for the whole family. When my nephews were born, I delved deeper into baking and would make them yearly, custom, birthday cakes and party favors. At one of those birthday parties, someone suggested that I should actually be baking for a living. In 2009, DaisyCakes was born.
