Crisis Services

Established in 1953, the Henderson Mental Health Center is a nonprofit organization and offers a range of behavioral health services. Located in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., it maintains more than 10 locations in South Florida. The center s services include psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations, medication management, crisis counseling and intervention. The center also offers psychotherapy, co-occurring disorders assessment, community linkage and referral, monitoring and inpatient hospitalization services. It also offers adult outpatient and psychosocial rehabilitation services, such as individual and group therapy and peer and family support groups. In addition, the Henderson Mental Health Center runs a supported CARF accredited supported employment program that includes work training, job placement assistance and employment resources.
