Established in 2004 by, "The Sisters, " Maria Veloz and Victoria Lopez, Acute Quality Staffing, Inc provides the personal touch to the Tampa Staffing Community. The Chief Executive Officer and Healthcare Recruiter, Maria Veloz, RN, brings over 15 years of nursing experience to the nurse staffing and employment placement business. Originally from Cuba, Maria began her nursing career in 1991 as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Tampa Bay Area. She eventually became a Registered Nurse. Since then Maria has earned her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida and has gained extensive nursing experience in Adult and Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Open Heart, Progressive Care unit, Telemetry, Case Management, PACU, and Home Care. Since the beginning, Maria has been the backbone of Acute Quality Staffing. She contributes industry knowledge and business savvy that only an experienced nurse can provide. President and Chief Financial Officer, Victoria Lopez, brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare staffing industry. As the previous owner of a local nursing agency, Victoria gained much knowledge on what it takes to operate a successful staffing agency. Victoria began her nursing career in Tampa, Florida, as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In 1995, she started her new career as a Staffing Coordinator for one of the largest nurse staffing agencies in Florida and Nationwide. While there, she expanded her knowledge in Accounting and Business Development. Since then, Victoria's Business Accounting know-how has kept Acute Quality Staffing among the top staffing agencies in the Tampa Bay Area.
