Founded in 1915, the Water & Sewer Department is a part of the city of Ocala, which operates through various other departments, including building, engineering, finance, police, purchasing, planning and human resources. The Water & Sewer Department maintains several water facilities, including more than 380 miles of water lines, over 365 miles of sewer gravity and force mains and over 100 lift stations. The department also maintains several reclaimed water spray and underground drip irrigation systems. About The Police Department: The City of Leesburg is located in Lake County in North Central Florida approximately 35 miles northwest of Orlando.
