The Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in June 1989, dedicated to alleviating and preventing hunger and homelessness in the community. Starting as a feeding ministry, the coalition now provides food distribution to over 600 households monthly, along with hot meals every day of the year.

Their mission is to keep families and children housed before they become homeless, offering emergency shelter, homeless prevention services, and hunger prevention programs. With a vision of a community free of hunger and homelessness, the coalition works tirelessly to provide assistance with utilities, rent, mortgage, transportation, employment, and navigating government programs to those in need.
