Charlie Graingers, a beloved eatery rooted in Southern tradition, began its journey in 1939 when Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Anne Grainger opened the iconic Peacock Alley restaurant in Wilmington, North Carolina. Known for its fresh ingredients and quality customer service, the restaurant has evolved into a go-to destination for mouthwatering hot dogs, brisket, and BBQ, while maintaining a classic Americana atmosphere.
After being revitalized in 2012 by Louis North, Charlie Graingers has successfully expanded its reach, bringing the flavors of its heritage to a wider audience. Patrons can enjoy a diverse menu featuring housemade pimento cheese, pulled pork, and signature sandwiches, all crafted with a commitment to delivering a memorable dining experience.
