Ravindra Ganesh, M.D., is an internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Concierge Medicine. Dr. Ganesh specializes in providing preventive care and coordinating ongoing medical care for concierge medicine patients. He has expertise in creating holistic, multidisciplinary treatment plans that promote well-being and longevity. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Ganesh held multiple clinical positions at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He was an attending physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine, head of the Section of International Medicine, practice chair of Integrative Medicine and Health and medical director of the Long COVID Clinic. He also served as a preceptor and lecturer for medical residents and fellows. Dr. Ganesh earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisc., after earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of the West Indies Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kingston, Jamaica. His clinical training includes an internal medicine residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. He also earned a Master of Public Health degree at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Ganesh has conducted research in his field and published his work in multiple medical journals. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including several leading longevity societies. Recognizing that each patient is unique, Dr. Ganesh offers patient-centered care. “Genetics, exposures, disease state, socioeconomic challenges and more interplay to create a complex and unique environment that drives disease and response to therapeutics,” he said. “Therefore, medicine is not a one-size-fits-all approach but rather an attempt to identify treatments that benefit the patient — evidence-informed but patient-driven.” When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ganesh enjoys doing activities with his children such as swimming, hiking and going to museums, festivals, plays and movies.

Richard Capdevila, MSN, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Primary Care. He cares for patients with multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism and others. He speaks English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2018, Richard worked at West Kendall Baptist Hospital Emergency Department as a registered nurse and clinical educator. He provided advanced, high-level care for people with acute conditions and injuries.Richard is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Richard’s care philosophy is to help his patients stay proactive when it comes to their health by practicing preventive care and promoting regular checkups. He advocates for reaching a diagnosis early on so that each treatment moving forward has the best chance to make an impact. In his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family, especially at the park playing soccer with his three sons. He also loves music and plays the guitar.

Eman Ahmad, M.D., is a geriatric medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. She provides comprehensive care that prioritizes patient-centered strategies and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, geriatric medicine, chronic disease management and dementia. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Ahmad was chief of geriatric medicine at Alameda Health System in Oakland, Calif., where she managed the delivery of geriatric care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and fostered the professional growth of staff, students, residents and fellows. Dr. Ahmad is certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and several other professional organizations. Dr. Ahmad earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed a family medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, Calif., and a geriatric medicine fellowship at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, N.Y. In her practice, Dr. Ahmad has found that older adults managing chronic conditions often encounter fragmented care and unnecessary healthcare services that do not align with their personal goals and preferences. She strives to provide coordinated care that respects and supports her patients’ needs and values, ultimately contributing to enhanced satisfaction and improved health outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Ahmad is fluent in English and Arabic. During her free time, she enjoys running, exercising, playing tennis, traveling, cooking and painting.
