Carlise C Downie, LCSW CAP

History

Before transitioning into private practice, I gained several years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, and addictions in which I provided counseling to adolescents and adults in inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient settings, and several years of experience in crisis intervention at an inpatient behavioral health facility. I served in the United States Navy, and was a military spouse which provides me with a unique perspective on military issues. Currently, as well as counseling, I speak on several topics in educational, medical, and organizational settings.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in military issues, couple and family relationships, adolescent issues, substance abuse/addiction, and adjustment issues, and I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in individual, couple, and family settings.
