Physicians Immediate Care first opened the doors to receive patients in February of 2003. Dr. Kenneth Palestrant, a long time physician and member within the community, saw a need for a quicker, more cost effective alternative to the Emergency room or Doctors office. So with himself and 5 other employees, Dr. Palestrant embarked on a tremendous journey that would see that one small clinic, with few workers, grow into 4 clinics with over 70 employees. Physicians Immediate care is ever expanding in size and within the community. It's a satisfying feeling to know that there are still some leaders within the community that push for growth and never let the rough times get them down.
