Cape Coral Financial Services Department is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial management system that includes centralized accounting, financial reporting, budget services, procurement services and program performance evaluation. Located in Cape Coral, Fla., the department oversees treasury, debt management, payroll administration, grant coordination and reporting, fixed assets reporting, activity-based costing, and budget management and administration. Its financial management services also include procurement, assessment development and management, customer billing services and coordination of the annual audit by independent certified auditors. Cape Coral Financial Services Department s accounting division prepares and issues a comprehensive annual financial report each fiscal year. Its customer billing services division is responsible for billing, customer service, and new construction and expansion.
