With more than 6,300 employees, including nearly 2,800 certified deputies and more than 600 fire rescue professionals, the Broward County Sheriff's Office is one of America's largest nationally accredited sheriff's departments. BSO provides full-time law enforcement services in nearly 15 Broward cities and towns and in all of Broward's unincorporated areas, serving more than one-third of the county.
