Broward Children's Center

Broward Children's Center, a nonprofit facility, is located in Pompano Beach, Fla. Founded in 1971, the center offers a wide variety of health, wellness, education, recreation, therapeutic, daily living, social and advocacy services. It provides group homes, home care, preschools, therapy, and respite care services for families, infants, children and youth. The agency has group homes serving infants, children and young adults with medical and developmental disabilities. Its home care services include ventilator care; skilled nursing; speech, physical and occupational therapies; medical and social services; tube feeding; tracheostomy care; intravenous therapy and diabetic management and education. The agency s prescribed pediatric extended care program offers various services, including developmental and educational programs, nutrition, recreation and transportation. It also provides a children s program that offers routine wellness visits and immunizations.
