The Brevard Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1954, is Brevard County's only fully professional orchestra and is Orchestra-in-Residence at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, FL. Led by Music Director and Principal Conductor Christopher Confessore, the BSO presents world-class performances, educational programs, and outreach opportunities, entertaining and enriching individuals and communities through exceptional live symphonic music.
With a rich history spanning 70 years, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra has been dedicated to presenting inspiring performances of great music to audiences in Brevard and Indian River counties. The orchestra collaborates with various arts groups in the region and offers a diverse range of concerts and events, including its Signature Six series, matinee concerts, holiday concerts, and free community concerts.
