I love Bowmans Beach. Yes, it's a bit of a hike to get to the ocean, but that's kind of nice because the beach isn't so crowded. You do have to pay to park. It's also a great place to get shells....

Beautifully maintained and white sandy beaches. Oh yes, and the water was calm and relaxing. Well the day we were there! If you are seeking shells, go early or wait till a tide change!
