Bo's Ice Cream, a beloved fixture in the Seminole Heights area of Tampa, has been a popular hangout for Hillsborough High School students and locals alike since its establishment in 1954 by Kenneth Miller Bosanko. Originally facing challenges, the shop evolved into the go-to destination for ice cream, remaining family-owned for over 50 years and passing through generations of the Bosanko family.
After Kenneth's passing in 2000, his son Kenny continued the legacy, maintaining the shop's charm and commitment to quality treats. Despite interest from various parties to purchase the business, Kenny expressed a preference for selling to employees who wished to preserve its traditional atmosphere.
