History

In 1887 Don Esteban Borges, a Spanish immigrant living in Cuba, established a carpentry business of producing high quality furnishing made from the finest hardwoods available. At the same time he was fascinated by the aroma and presence of the tobacco industry in Cuba. He learned all about tabaco farming. After establishing himself as a crasftman of fine woods, he began to elaborate tabaco accessories. In 1902 his son Jose Borges joined him in the Family business, together they created a business that became renowned for its quality wood-works and expertise. After two generations, the tradition of quality continues today in the L. Borges Humidifiers Corporation. All pieces are handmade with only the best quality of wood. We guaranty satisfaction 100%.
