Big Tree Park is a historic and scenic park located in Longwood, FL, offering visitors a unique experience in a natural hydric hammock swamp. The park is renowned for its former site of The Senator, a 3,500-year-old National Champion Bald Cypress Tree, and its sister tree, Lady Liberty, a 2,000-year-old Bald Cypress Tree. With a newly renovated boardwalk, interpretive signage, and a playground piece resembling a bald cypress tree stump, Big Tree Park is a popular tourist destination and a step back in time.
As a Trailhead for the Cross Seminole Trail, Big Tree Park provides a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts to explore.
