Wow!! Small park. Big Fun!! If you are in the White Springs area you have to check this place out. About an hour and a half west and north of Jacksonville. Just a 1.5 mile trail. 3 miles in all....

Got to visit for a short bit while camping at Stephen Foster across town. This was my first time seeing the Suwannee and this park provides great views and quiet trails to feel one with nature....

Big Shoals has two entrances, one at Little Shoals, and one for Big Shoals. At Little Shoals, the drive is short, on hard dirt, to the beginning of Woodpecker Trail, a 3.4 mile paved bike path...
