History
Mr.Emede started a family owned business, where gelato was served in the traditional Italian way. After his success in Italy Mr Emede pioneered into Argentina with a new store where traditional gelato was the dessert of choice. Dolce Vita started 4 locations around Florida, soon after 3 new locations opened in Downtown, South Beach and Coconut Grove. Stores in Aventura and Dolphin Mall opened soon after and the Bertoni factory expanded to meet high demand needs. In 2013, opened stores in Mexico began selling to supermarkets in the US. In 2015, the newest addition to the Bertoni company, Bertoni Gelato Caffe by Dolce Vita opened in Key Biscayne.

The gelato here is just okay. Compared to other places I have tried the consistency and flavor are lacking. FYI, unlike traditional ice cream shops, you order your size and pay at the register...

Horrible!! i just had the worst gelato (stop lieing and sayinng its home made!!) of my life! Even the last Gelato Shop they had before is better than this! HORRIBLE! ps: the Gelato does not melt...
