They were able to cheaply replace the battery in my old iPad, something that Apple would do. They had to send it out, but it only took 3-4 days, and it works like a new iPad

My deisel truck has 2 batteries which I bought at Batteries Plus in PC a couple years ago. They kept draining and would not keep a charge. I took my truck to the store and explained the problem....

They advertise battery recycling but when we attempted to utilize this service we were informed there would be a charge ( not mentioned on the web site). Clerk was rude and couldn't be bothered.
