Alex Mafdali, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in primary care sports medicine at Baptist Health.Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Mafdali completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care.Dr. Mafdali earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Alan Laurence Saperstein, MD
Alan Saperstein, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Saperstein specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscus repair, and articular cartilage resurfacing procedures, including MACI, rotator cuff repair and shoulder labrum repair. Dr. Saperstein is chief of orthopedic surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.Dr. Saperstein currently serves as a team physician for Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. He is also a clinical affiliate assistant professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Saperstein treats each patient as an individual and considers their medical history, work and recreational demands, and health goals when developing a treatment plan. James Robert Ross, MD
James Ross, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Ross specializes in sports medicine and joint preservation surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Ross is one of the few orthopedic surgeons to have been awarded a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He currently serves as the team physician for Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, and the Florida Panthers. Dr. Ross is a member of the ANCHOR Research Group and the recipient of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) Trainee Research Award.
