History

Ballet Concerto was opened in 1961 by Martha Del Pino, Sonia Diaz, and recently deceased Eduardo Recalt. Originally from Cuba they moved to the United States looking for a better opportunity. Ballet Concerto was the first ballet studio to open in Miami, Fl. Professional dancers flocked to take class with Martha, Sonia, and Eduardo. Since their inception over 20,000 students have taken class with Ballet Concerto, more than any other studio in South Florida.

Ballet Concerto school of Miami specializes in Ballet technique. We are the oldest ballet studio in Miami,Fl. We focus on ballet because we believe it the foundation on which all dance is based on. If you have a good strong ballet background you can dance anything. We also offer other forms of dance such as jazz, lyrical, contemporary, flamenco, and acrobatics.
