Baba on Central is a neighborhood eatery in Historic Kenwood, Saint Petersburg, FL, that offers a fresh twist on classic family recipes inspired by Mediterranean roots. Restaurateurs Debbie and George Sayegh have created a trendy space with indoor and outdoor dining, an herb garden, cafe, and bakery, all reflecting their love for family and culture.

The restaurant, designed by owner Debbie Sayegh, was transformed from a mechanic shop into a 150-seat dining establishment with a focus on using seasonal ingredients harvested from their own edible garden. Partnering with local artist Chad Mize, Baba incorporates the symbolism of the evil eye talisman throughout its design, paying homage to the evolution of the Greek community in the area.
