This was really cool, and only $5 per person! For an outing, it's maybe a 4 star since it's a relatively small experience, but there are a lot of cool birds and the staff is very knowledgeable....

I visited the reconditioning center today with my husband and baby and we had a great time. The admission fee is $5 for anyone over 3 years of age and they're only open for visitors on Saturday....

What they do for these animals is commendable. They volunteer their time and seemed to really care. I just admired this place.

The Avian Reconditioning Center is a great place if you like birds. Luckily, I happen to love birds! They're only open on Saturdays, and they're kind of out of the way in Apopka, but if you can...

This was a really great place with lots of birds. The staff really cared about the animals and their well being.
