Atlantic Community High School

Atlantic Community High School operates under the Palm Beach County School District, which also governs and supervises various other schools, including Galaxy Elementary School, Plumosa Elementary School and Boca Raton High School. Located in Delray Beach, Fla., Atlantic Community High School offers classes from grades nine through 12. The school has an enrolment of more than 2,000 students every year. It provides classes in various subjects, including technology, business studies, mathematics, physical sciences, arts and humanities. Atlantic Community High School conducts a variety of sporting events, including baseball, softball, basketball, bowling, track, golf, football, soccer, tennis, swimming and diving, volleyball, wrestling and weightlifting. The school also has a media center that offers a more than 40-station computer laboratory for academic research skills training and access to educational research databases through the Internet.
