Asm Beauty World Academy

History

ASM Beauty World Academy opened its doors on May 6, 1986 and started with 1 student in the morning class and 1 student in the night class, it rapidly grew to 107 students in the first two months. The original location had 3,000 square feet, located in Hollywood, Florida. We started with only 2 instructors named Miss Geraldine Tortora, known as Miss Jerry, and Sal V. Milazzo who also performed additional duties of receptionist and admissions. ASM became licensed by CIE in 1986. ASM became accredited by NACCAS in January 1990. ASM received the approval from the U.S. Homeland Security to provide International Student Visas in 1990. ASM received the approval for Financial Aid from the U.S. Department of Education to offer Pell Grants and Student Loans in 1991 . In December 1992, the company relocated to 2510 N. 60th Ave. Hollywood, FL 33021. In January 1993, ASM opened its doors in the new larger location, our current location. In 2011, ASM expanded its campus to 6672 -6674 Stirling Rd
