Arch Creek Park was created around a natural limestone bridge formation that was once part of an important Indian trail. It is believed to have first been used by the now-extinct Tequesta Indian tribe and later by the Seminoles. Arch Creek Park is designated as a Florida State Historical Preserve.

You probably have driven by this park innumerable times and did not take the time to stop in because it's well hidden. If your ever in the North Miam area, definitely check this place out....

Small park with nature trails and few picnic areas and small museum. Limited parking. No flowers, few birds, very few butterflies for spring. Good canopy keeps it a pleasant walk even on hot days....
