My great grandfather's name is Octave. He was the son of a Haitian General. He was one of the first pioneers to travel to America. A very smart businessman. When my grandmother, his oldest, was a young girl she would call him Papa Tave. And so throughout time the name caught on throughout the family and also throughout the country. I was able to purchase the restaurant with a loan from my grandmother, which her fortune came from her father and his knowledge of how to successfully run a business, I felt that naming the restaurant after him was more then appropriate
