Founded in 1971, Palm Lakes Elementary School serves more than 900 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Located in Hialeah, Fla., the school is part of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, which serves Miami-Dade County s more than 341,800 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 in a range of elementary, middle, high, charter, vocational, magnet and alternative schools, as well as special education centers.
