Amish A Patel, MD

Mohamed Rehman, M.D., is the Eric Kobren Endowed Professor in Applied Health Informatics and a Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is the chair of the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.Internationally recognized for his medical and clinical informatics expertise, Dr. Rehman also is director of Perioperative Health Informatics, leading a multi-disciplinary research initiative that is involved in data-driven research to improve quality, safety and value related to the human digital twin project. Dr. Rehman’s team is one of the few in the world working in real time consumer level and medical data to improve patient outcomes. Previously Dr. Rehman was a professor of clinical anesthesiology and critical care and professor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He held numerous leadership roles at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, including director of transplant anesthesia, and was the anesthesia team leader for the world's first bilateral hand transplant and several conjoint twin separations. He also developed the first biomedical informatics program within a pediatric anesthesia and critical care program while at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was the first endowed chair in biomedical informatics and entrepreneurial sciences.A graduate of Mysore Medical College, Mysore, India, he completed a pediatric residency at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital, an anesthesia residency at the University of Miami, and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology and critical care at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also completed training in biomedical informatics from Oregon Health and Science University and business training from the Wharton School of Business. He is the author of more than 60 original research publications and review articles and more than 80 scientific abstracts. His leadership roles at the national level include serving as chair of the Biomedical Informatics and Technology Group of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and president of the Society for Technology in Anesthesia.

Dr. Cook specializes in pediatric radiology with a focus on PET/CT and musculoskeletal imaging at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2019.She previously served as associate director of pediatric radiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest and assistant professor at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Springdale, Arkansas.Her clinical interests include neuroimaging but she enjoys all aspects of pediatric radiology. Her previous research focus was on epilepsy and seizure imaging with her most current research focusing on the changing workforce and professional challenges within the practice of radiology.Dr. Cook earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. She then completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Oakwood Southshore Hospital in Trenton, Michigan, and a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.She is proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Winners Mendizabal specializes in neonatology with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. He sees patients at the hospital's main campus in St. Petersburg, as well as at Brandon Regional Hospital where he serves as interim medical director of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), through an affiliation with Johns Hopkins All Children's. He joined the hospital staff in 2012.Dr. Winners Mendizabal earned his medical degree from Universidad Boliviana Mayor de San Andres in La Paz, Bolivia. He completed training in pediatrics at University of Kansas and neonatal-perinatal fellowship at Case Western Reserve University at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. His research interests include retinopathy of prematurity, chronic intermittent hypoxia and enteral and parental nutrition. He is fluent in Spanish.
