Originally built in 1886, the Amelia Schoolhouse Inn was the original school for Amelia Island. Operating as a school for nearly 50 years, the building, despite its prime location in the downtown area, floundered as a multi use property for decades. In 2018, the building was completely restored into a 17 room boutique inn complete with an upscale bar. With meticulous restoration of much of the original aspects of the building - including wood floors, the brick, and windows, the completely renovated Amelia Schoolhouse Inn will make you want to come back to the island time after time.

Went to the principle office bar. Small adorable and fun atmosphere. Sat on a school benches with pillows and cushions. Had to go to the front Of the room which was the bar To order your drinks...
