Alka Sawhney, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. As a Lynn Cancer Institute medical oncologist and hematologist, Dr. Sawhney diagnoses and treats patients with a wide range of cancers including leukemia, lymphoma and noncancerous blood disorders. While a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, Dr. Sawhney is committed to providing expert care while helping patients maintain the best quality of life during and after treatment. Dr. Sawhney believes a team approach is vital to providing effective cancer treatment. Each care team member plays a vital role in ensuring their patients feel like they are surrounded by an extended family. When she is not caring for patients, she likes to cook, practice yoga and go for long walks with her dog.

Dr. Zeidan approaches cancer care by taking the time to understand each patient’s social and psychological perspectives. He believes this is key for developing a successful treatment plan. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Zeidan enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending community events, visiting historical sites and reading.

David Taub, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified urologist and director of urologic oncology and director of urologic robotic surgery at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Dr. Taub specializes in treating urologic cancer.Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute, Dr. Taub was on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Taub also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Dr. Taub’s research has been published in peer-reviewed publications, including Urology, the Journal of Urology, BJU International, Neurourology and Urodynamics, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has also presented at numerous industry events and conferences. Dr. Taub’s care philosophy is to use a patient-centric, holistic approach. He believes patient treatment is a team effort that includes the physician, patient, their family and other specialized physicians, when necessary. His mission is to provide patients with safe, comfortable, quality care to achieve the best outcomes.
