Alexander Montessori School

Established in 1963 and located in Palmetto Bay, Fla., Montessori School of Alexander offers a college preparatory curriculum in a small school setting. The school offers classes from kindergarten grade eight through 12. Its curriculum offers a wide range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, language art, social studies, arts and music, religion, band, health, physical education, computer studies, special education, and various elective options. The school also provides various extracurricular and sports activities, such as fine arts, drama, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and golf games. Montessori School of Alexander is approved by Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, Florida Kindergarten Council, National Independent Private Schools Association, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and American Montessori Society.
