The Alachua County Sheriff's Office, Detective Bureau s primary responsibilities include investigating crimes against persons, and financial, computer and property-type crimes. The Alachua County Sheriff's Office supports the Explorer Program, which provides law enforcement training to students between the ages of 14 and 21.
