Aidan Hamm, M.D., is a vascular surgeon at Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Hamm specializes in vascular surgery, general surgery, endovascular and open aortic surgery. He also specializes in critical limb ischemia, aortic diseases and aneurysms, surgical oncology, and carotid artery disease, including transcarotid artery revascularization. Dr. Hamm joined Baptist Health from Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He has been published in Abernathy's Surgical Secrets (7th Edition), Annals of Surgical Oncology and Current Cardiovascular Risk Reports. Dr. Hamm provides patient-centered, thorough and compassionate care. He enjoys treating patients of all ages with state-of-the-art procedures and technology. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Hamm enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, camping, hiking, going to the beach, playing sports and competing in triathlons.

Dr. Cortolillo’s patient care philosophy began to develop at age 11 when his father received life-saving vascular surgery. He believes long-term relationships with his patients improve their quality of life. He is also passionate about using nonsurgical treatments tailored to each patient whenever possible. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Cortolillo enjoys hockey, soccer, boating, woodworking, antique refurbishing and maybe a game or two of poker.
