Advanced Surgical Associates of West Florida: Richard Gordon, MD

Richard S. Gordon, MD, FACS, FRCSC, FASMBS, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric (weight-loss) surgery, robotic/laparoscopic (or minimally invasive) surgeries, anti-reflux (or hiatal hernia) surgery, and other general surgical procedures. He brings over 20 years of experience to Advanced Surgical Associates of West Florida, with offices in Largo, Clearwater and Trinity, Florida. Dr. Gordon completed his medical school training at The University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, followed by his surgical residency and chief resident year at the Ottawa Hospital. He then completed his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Fort Lauderdale.
