The Center for Haitian Studies (CHS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to provide health and social services to the underserved populations of Little Haiti and Little River in Miami, Florida. CHS offers culturally competent primary care services, including OB/GYN and pediatric care, as well as HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, and health education. They also provide medical education opportunities for local and international medical students, residents, and nursing students. In addition to healthcare services, CHS offers a range of other services to the community, such as psychosocial counseling, case management, home-delivered meals, and direct financial assistance. They also provide crime prevention, literacy, and cultural adaptation services for new immigrants.
