History

While serving over a decade as an Army medic, Drill Sergeant and Master Resilience Instructor, I saw a lot of pain and experienced a lot of it myself. I have been self-treating with yoga since I was 11 and I taught my Soldiers to do the same. I was successful in treating pain, but I knew there was something more. I found the next step in Myofascial Release (MFR) when my Army PA suggested I attend a John F. Barnes Seminar. There is nothing like a trained skilled MFR therapist to help eliminate your pain. A large part of being an effective therapist is the ability to courageously ask high-mileage questions to find the root of a problem. This naturally developed the coach within me & I decided to make the coaching aspect official. I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where I earned my Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certificate. IIN was life changing & gave me the skills to break my personal glass ceiling and help others do the same.

Specialties

Myofascial Release is a powerful, yet gentle, hands-on technique that treats the entire mind-body complex to eliminate pain and restore range of motion. Through gentle, sustained pressure into the fascial system, the fascia becomes rehydrated and is able to move freely, taking the pressure off pain sensitive areas. This treatment is very effective for eliminating migraines, back pain, knee pain and much more!
