Academy of the Holy Names

Academy of the Holy Names is a Catholic, independent coeducational elementary school and a college preparatory school for young women in the Tampa Bay area in Florida. It is sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary and has been serving students for more than 125 years. It comprises elementary, middle and high schools and offers classes from prekindergarten through grade 12 in various subjects, including faith experiences and language development; mathematical and scientific enrichment; and creative expression. The academy has an athletics department that offers various sports, including golf, basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, softball and tennis. The academy has a media center and an art studio, and it offers various programs, such as performing arts and visual arts. Academy of the Holy Names is located in Tampa, Fla.
