Absolute Rebellion

History

Pierre Benitan was born in Cannes, France. He was raised by his fashion oriented parents. His mother was a talented designer and his father a boutique retailer in the South of France. Ever since he was a child, Pierre was very involved with fabric and evolving designs where he developed a strong passion for fashion. While living in France, Pierre established his own line for high-end women's clothing. He was the pioneer of spandex clothing for women. Because he understood his market and had innovative creations, he was an overnight success. He grew rapidly all over Europe gaining a reputation for being rebellious and genuine. Pierre later felt the European market was not big enough for his vision and moved to America in the late 90's. Starting from scratch, he opened his first retail store in New York and within 5 years opened 17 more designer stores for women's clothing all over the nation.
